Big Dig Excavators

Meet Jake, Thor, Brutus, and Big Bird, our Large Excavator Fleet! They’re the digging & demolition monsters with pure hydraulic power & flexible movement for any big construction job! You’ll dig gigantic trenches, build huge mounds, stack 2,000 lb. tires, and play “Excavator Basketball.” You’ll leave the playground with a big smile and a huge sense of accomplishment!

No construction training is required!

How It Works

Driving heavy machinery is easier than you think! You’ll learn to operate the two joystick controls and follow your instructor’s guidance. You don’t even need a driver’s license!
Your 90 minute activity includes these approximate times—a brief safety class (15min),operating time (1 hour), graduation ceremony (15min).
You’re connected via wireless headset with your instructor during operation, who will guide you through your Dig. For 2-3 people, you’ll experience a side-by-side experience with wireless headset communication together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a driver's license?

Nope, no driving experience is required!

Is the equipment air-conditioned or heated?

Absolutely! Our machines are fully climate-controlled, so no matter what the Vegas weather is doing, you’ll stay comfortably cool in the summer months.

Can my friends and family come to watch?

Yes! Of course! We have two dedicated areas for spectators to watch and take photos. Bring your sisters, cousins, uncles, and best friend if you’d like! The more the merrier! Plus, you need someone to vouch for you that you actually operated heavy equipment while in Las Vegas!

Can we split the time on a Big Dig?

No. Only one person per Big Dig. We have really cool tasks for you to perform, and once you’re on the machine, you won’t want to share anymore!

What is your cancellation policy?

Need to cancel your reservation at Dig This?
We get it. Plans can change.

You have the option to reschedule for a different date or time of your choosing; simply contact us at least 24 hours notice prior to the start of your reserved Dig Time.
Alternatively, convert your booking into a gift certificate worth the full value paid and choose a later date and time within one year from the original Dig Time.
If you prefer to cancel your booking completely, let us know at least 24 hours before your original Dig Time, and we will refund 50% of your original payment.

By Far, The Most Fun Thing We’ve done in Vegas
