Requirements

Closed-toe shoes required
Adults must be able to pass the breathalyzer in order to operate their machine.
No driver’s license is necessary, and No construction training is required!

How It Works

Driving heavy machinery is easier than you think! You’ll learn to operate the two joystick controls and follow your instructor’s guidance. You don’t even need a driver’s license!
Your activity includes a brief safety class (15min), operating time (1 hour), and graduation ceremony/retail visit (15min).
You’re connected via wireless headset with your instructor during operation, who will guide you through your Dig. For 2-3 people, you’ll experience a side-by-side experience with wireless headset communication together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a driver's license?

Nope, no driving experience is required!

Is the equipment air-conditioned or heated?

Absolutely! Our machines are fully climate-controlled, so no matter what the Vegas weather is doing, you’ll stay comfortably cool in the summer months.

Can my friends and family come to watch?

Yes! Of course! We have two dedicated areas for spectators to watch and take photos. Bring your sisters, cousins, uncles, and best friend if you’d like! The more the merrier! Plus, you need someone to vouch for you that you actually operated heavy equipment while in Las Vegas!

Can we split the time on a Big Dig?

No. Only one person per Big Dig. We have really cool tasks for you to perform, and once you’re on the machine, you won’t want to share anymore!

What is your cancellation policy?

Need to cancel your reservation at Dig This?
We get it. Plans can change.

You have the option to reschedule for a different date or time of your choosing; simply contact us at least 24 hours notice prior to the start of your reserved Dig Time.
Alternatively, convert your booking into a gift certificate worth the full value paid and choose a later date and time within one year from the original Dig Time.
If you prefer to cancel your booking completely, let us know at least 24 hours before your original Dig Time, and we will refund 50% of your original payment.

Drove the wheel loader!

Was out with the instructor for a full hour! The instructor was outside on the ground guiding via headphones the entire time so you are 100% in control. Great fun, would highly recommend.

Such a fun experience!

Phil was a great guide and gave me lots of freedom to explore along the course. The staff were very accommodating too! Our flights were delayed getting into Vegas, and it was less than 24 hours before our appointment. I called and asked if we could reschedule later this week and they were happy to. They are professional, fun, and I felt safe the whole time.

Dig This helped me realize this dream! I had the opportunity to operate the wheel loader for 90 minutes! I was instructed by Marc and he did an excellent job coaching me to operate this machine with ease.

Even Spectators Have Fun!

My husband and two of his friends went to Dig This Vegas and had alot of fun. It was even a fun experience for the spectators, because they give the spectators headphones and we can listen in on the instructions. The instructors were very kind and had lots of patience! Everyone there was friendly and professional!
